Role Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to spearhead our sales growth in the IT sector. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the full sales cycle, from initial lead generation through to successful deal closing. This role requires an assertive approach to building new client relationships, strong negotiation skills, and a commitment to achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Cold Calling : Actively seek out and generate new sales opportunities through rigorous cold calling, networking, and market research to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Relationship Management : Build strong relationships with prospective clients and maintain consistent, proactive contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and secure repeat business.
- Sales Execution : Manage the full sales cycle, including qualification, presentation, negotiation, and deal closing, to consistently generate sales and meet revenue goals.
- Needs Assessment : Confidently present and articulate the value proposition of our IT products / services, aligning them to the specific needs and challenges of the client.
- Pipeline Management : Efficiently manage the sales pipeline using a CRM system, ensuring all activities, contacts, and opportunities are accurately tracked and forecasted.
- Market Analysis : Analyse the market landscape, understand competitor strengths, and establish clear competitive advantages for our offerings.
- Reporting & Metrics : Track metrics and prepare regular sales reports to ensure individual and team performance targets are hit.
- Negotiation : Utilise good negotiation skills to finalise contracts and terms that are mutually beneficial.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience : Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1+ years of proven experience in the IT sales industry.Sales Acumen : Demonstrated success and experience in the full sales cycle, including deal closing.Communication & Presentation : Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex IT solutions clearly and persuasively.Negotiation Proficiency : Strong negotiation skills with a track record of handling objections and finalising contracts.Persuasion : Excellent convincing skill and ability to influence client decision-makers.Technical Tools : Experience with CRM software is preferred for efficient pipeline management and reporting.Mindset : Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly resilient in a fast-paced environment.Skills Required
