Cibirix - Manual Tester - Application Testing

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive and well-structured manual test cases.
• Execute test cases across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop) to identify bugs, performance issues, and inconsistencies.
• Document and report bugs clearly in a bug tracking system and track them through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product teams to clarify requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile / Scrum processes.
• Perform regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans, test scenarios, and test data.
• Provide quality metrics and insights to stakeholders and recommend improvements.
• Mentor junior testers and assist in defining QA best practices and Skills & Qualifications :
• 5+ years of experience in manual testing in a structured QA environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with test case management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs (using tools like Postman).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and writtento effectively document issues and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative Agile team environment.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments with knowledge of sprint cycles and ceremonies.
• Familiarity with SQL and ability to validate data in backend systems is a plus.
• Exposure to basic automation concepts or tools is a bonus (e.g., Selenium, Postman scripting, Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing practices.
• Basic understanding of API testing and performance testing tools
