Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with strong experience in manual testing and hands-on exposure to automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Playwright, and SQL to ensure high-quality testing of web and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to validate application functionality, performance, and usability.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright with Java.
Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and API testing.
Validate back-end data using SQL queries to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Document test cases, test results, and report defects with clear reproducible steps.
Participate in defect triage meetings and support root cause analysis.
Contribute to test planning, estimations, and status reporting.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices and help improve test processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Strong hands-on experience in manual testing across web and enterprise applications.

Solid understanding of STLC, SDLC, Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Proficiency in Java programming for writing automation scripts.

Practical experience with Playwright automation framework.

Strong knowledge of SQL for writing and executing queries to validate data.

Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
