Job descriptionEnsure all statutory & regulatory compliance. Maintain company records, filings, and registers. Advise on corporate governance & legal risks. Draft / review agreements & contracts. Liaise with stakeholders, auditors, and regulators. Qualified Company Secretary (ICSI). 5+ years’ experience (fintech / startup / BFSI preferred). Strong knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI, RBI regulations. Fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada. ⚖️ Law degree (LLB / LLM) or Finance qualification (CA / CS / CFA). Experience with investor relations, ESOPs, and fundraising. Exposure to M&A or high-growth startup environments. The Role
We’re looking for a proactive Company Secretary who can own all compliance and governance matters while partnering with leadership on strategic decisions. If you enjoy a mix of law, strategy, and execution in a high-growth fintech, this is for you.
A Day in the Life
- Check compliance calendars and filings.
- Draft agendas, prep for board / committee meetings, and record minutes.
- Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and legal teams.
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with MCA, RBI, and SEBI.
- Support leadership on fundraising, due diligence, and investor relations.
