Role Overview
We are looking for a Solar Site Supervisor who will take ownership of solar site installations from start to finish. The role involves site design, supervising installation teams, coordinating materials, interacting with customers, and ensuring the system is delivered on time and working perfectly.
- This is a hands-on, field-role with strong emphasis on electrical and solar technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Site Design & PlanningAssess site conditions and customer needs.Design suitable solar setups (panels, inverter, battery, charge controller, mounting structures).Provide proposals for new customers.Project ExecutionIdentify and manage local installers and vendors.Order and track materials for each project.Supervise installation work at site, ensuring quality and safety.Ensure projects are commissioned on time and function properly.Customer ManagementAct as the single point of contact for customers during project execution.Provide regular updates on project progress.Resolve customer issues quickly.Ensure timely payments are collected as per milestones.Technical & Electrical WorkPerform on-site testing using multimeter, clamp meter, etc.Oversee electrical wiring and system connections.Troubleshoot and rectify technical issues on-site.Requirements
Education (Preferred) :Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication / Renewable Energy / Solar Technician .ITI in Electrician / Electrical / Renewable Energy also acceptable.Experience :1–3 years of experience in solar installation or electrical works (fresh Diploma / ITI candidates with strong practical knowledge may be considered).Technical Skills :Strong understanding of solar systems and electrical safety.Familiarity with different mounting methods : Mangalore tile, concrete roof, farmland, gazebo, etc.Practical knowledge of wiring, connections, fault finding, and safe electrical practices.Soft Skills :Good communication in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada .Ability to handle customers confidently.Willingness to travel and stay on-site as required.What We Offer
