Ujjiva Small Finance Bank - Manager - Assets Strategy

Role Purpose & Objective :

• Support the development and periodic refinement of the banks medium- to long-term asset strategy, ensuring alignment with the organizational vision and regulatory requirements.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans and measurable outcomes for asset growth.
• Identify, plan, and support execution of strategic initiatives that drive sustainable loan growth, portfolio diversification, and risk-adjusted profitability.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of asset strategy initiatives.
• Support the annual strategic planning exercise across asset portfolios and facilitate quarterly strategy reviews.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
• Drive digital and technology-led initiatives to optimize lending processes, reduce turnaround time, and enhance portfolio quality.
• Ensure the banks asset strategy aligns with RBI regulations, internal risk frameworks, and organizational Responsibilities :
• Develop and execute strategies to drive growth across retail, MSME, and other lending portfolios.
• Collaborate with product, risk, analytics, and branch teams to design innovative lending products and schemes.
• Monitor asset portfolio performance, including disbursement trends, NPA levels, yield optimization, and profitability, and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare business cases, reports, and presentations for senior management on strategic asset initiatives.
• Lead projects focused on process optimization, digital lending, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform product design and pricing strategies.
• Support regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and credit policy alignment across portfolios.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on asset strategy, analysis, and Required : Minimum 8-12 years of progressive experience in banking, financial services, or strategic MBA / CA / CFA (mandatory)
