Role Purpose & creation and periodic modification of the bank's medium- to long-term strategy, ensuring seamless translation of strategic objectives into actionable business plans and measurable outcomes across all business verticals.

Identify, plan, and support execution of strategic initiatives that drive sustainable liabilities growth, reduce cost of funds, and improve branch and overall profitability in alignment with the organizations vision and regulatory requirements.

Ensure envisioned outcomes of identified initiatives are achieved within desired timelines.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.

Support the annual strategic planning exercise across businesses and facilitate quarterly strategy reviews.

Develop deposit mobilization strategies to support asset growth and optimize cost of funds.

Oversee in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.

Analyze industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape to guide strategic thinking and decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute liabilities strategy to drive CASA, term deposits, and new customer acquisition.
• Partner with product, marketing, analytics, and branch banking teams to design innovative deposit products and campaigns.
• Monitor liabilities portfolio performance and implement corrective actions to meet growth and profitability targets.
• Drive digital and alternate channel strategies to enhance customer experience and deepen wallet share.
• Prepare business cases and present recommendations to senior management for strategic initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and alignment with RBI guidelines for liabilities products.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency and cost optimization.
• Mentor and guide junior team members while providing insights to senior leadership on liabilities growth strategies.
• Minimum 8-12 years of progressive experience in banking, financial services, or strategic consulting
