The Manager / Deputy Manager - Channel Sales at Expertiz will be responsible for driving sales growth through the development and management of our travel agent network. This role requires a strong focus on relationship building, efficient inquiry management, and achieving sales targets while ensuring high levels of channel partner satisfaction. The incumbent will be a key player in expanding our reach and product dissemination within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities :
- Professional Grooming & Standards : Maintain and follow grooming standards as specified in the SOP Manual, representing Expertiz professionally at all times.
- Enquiry Management : Responsible for handling inquiries received through various channels, including telephonic, email, Non-City PSA (Professional Sales Agents), and Travel Agents.
- Process Adherence : Adhere strictly to the Enquiry Management & Booking Process as specified in the SOP Manual to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Network Development : Develop and expand the travel agent network within the assigned territory, identifying new opportunities for partnership.
- Relationship Building & Servicing : Build and maintain strong relationships with ASO (Agent Sales Offices), PSA, and Travel Agents, providing excellent service and support.
- Regular Channel Partner Visits : Regularly visit travel agents' offices to share product / destination brochures and provide updates on available schemes and promotions.
- Query Resolution & Quotation Coordination : Handle Travel Agents' queries efficiently and pass them to the Channel Service Team for quotation generation. Ensure that quotations are shared with the channel partner within 24 / 48 hours as per the SLA (Service Level Agreement).
- Outbound Sales & Follow-up : Conduct outbound telesales calls for follow-ups with Travel Agents, driving sales closures.
- Post-Sale Handover : Upon closure of a booking, accurately handover the file to the service team for the completion of all post-sale activities.
- Commission Management : Ensure thorough coordination with the Finance team to facilitate the timely payment of due commissions to channel partners within 15 days of raising an invoice or as specified in the agreement.
- Reporting : Maintain a Daily Sales Report, meticulously documenting sales activities and progress.
- Market Intelligence : Continuously update the Channel Head about current market developments and competitor activities.
- Target Achievement : Responsible for consistently achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as specified.
- Customer Satisfaction : Responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction levels at a minimum of 95% during the entire customer interaction.
- Policy Adherence : Adhere to all company policies and systems.
