Role Summary :
The Ghee Operator will be responsible for handling the complete process of ghee production — from cream separation and boiling to clarification, filtration, and packaging. The role demands attention to hygiene, precision in temperature control, and adherence to food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and monitor ghee processing equipment (boiling, clarification, filtration, and filling machines)
- Maintain accurate records of batch processing, temperatures, and output
- Ensure consistency in ghee texture, aroma, and color as per quality standards
- Check and maintain raw material quality (butter, cream) before processing
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work area as per SOPs
- Assist in packing, sealing, and labeling of finished ghee
- Follow safety, hygiene, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
- Support maintenance staff during equipment checks or breakdowns
- Coordinate with QA team for product testing and quality verification
- Maintain daily production logs and report any deviations immediately
Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum 10th pass or equivalent; ITI / Diploma in Dairy Technology preferred3–5 years of experience in ghee or dairy production operationsKnowledge of ghee production process and equipment handlingBasic understanding of food hygiene and safety normsAbility to work in a team and follow instructions preciselySkills Required
