Role / Job Title : Senior Relationship Manager-Corporate Liability
Function / Department : Wholesale Banking - Transaction Banking-Cash
Job Purpose
Senior Relationship Manager directly managing a portfolio of Corporate Liability Clients as well as have a team of 3-4 people as RM or ARM along with responsibility of team portfolio as well. Sourcing NTB liability customers for the bank and team management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Origination of New to Bank (NTBs) accounts and managing (farming) a portfolio of Corporate Liability Group clients.
- Develop a corporate liability strategy for a particular city / region and execute it. Target top clients in the coverage geography and convert them.
- Originate CMS / Trade Processing / FX transactions from Cash Rich Corporate clients, mainly from Digital First Companies, local IT / ITES firms and MNC subsidiaries. Onboard these clients with a solutions-based approach, developing unique solutions wherever required.
- Work with founders of well-funded start-ups, mainly online aggregators, e-commerce and fintech firms, to provide cash and trade solutions and onboard them.
- Build Liquid Asset OR Cash, backed Lending (short credit assessment memo)
- Develop deep relationships with PE / VC funds and Incubators to provide cash and trade solutions to their investee companies. Extend these influencer relationships to renowned law firms & Chartered Accounts as well.
- Manage relationships with existing clients and increase CA balances, term deposits, CMS / Trade / FX throughputs and maximize revenues from these services. Cross-sell other products of the bank like salary and wealth management to maximize share of wallet.
- Collaborate with the various Product Sales Managers and the Implementation teams across all Banking products to achieve these objectives.
- Manage team to ensure right sourcing is done and team as well as clients are managed well.
- Additionally, be responsible for Regulatory Pendency if any, Client escalations, BAU service requests, Compliance and Franchise Risk if any.
