AS400 Trainee Support Engineer

SystemsPlus is hiring for AS400 Trainee Support Engineer.

Location : Pune (Magarpatta)

Exp : 0.6 to 2 yr.

Rotational Shift.

Salary : 3.60 LPA

• Monitor AS400 jobs and system alerts, ensuring timely acknowledgment and basic troubleshooting.
• Provide first-line support for incidents, service requests, and alerts related to Retail, ERP and Infrastructure systems, and job failures.
• Coordinate with end users and IT teams to gather issue details, provide updates, and ensure timely resolution.
• Experience in using basic AS400 commands and managing batch processes within the AS400 environment
• Follow defined escalation procedures, escalating unresolved or critical issues to Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 teams.
• Log, track, and update tickets in the ITSM / ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Provide on-call support for priority incidents and urgent system issues as required.
• Work in a 24x7 environment, ensuring flexibility for night shifts and weekend support.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing and training programs to build expertise in ERP / Retail support.
• Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring prompt and professional responses to end users.
