Drone Engineer to join us in shaping the future.

Role Overview

As a Wireless System Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and

optimization of wireless communication systems for our fleet of drones. Your expertise will

ensure reliable, low-latency, and scalable connectivity for complex drone operations,

including large-scale synchronized flights and real-time data streaming.

Key Responsibilities

 Design & Development : Architect and develop advanced wireless communication protocols

tailored for drone operations (e.g., mesh networks, 5G, LoRa).

 System Integration : Implement and test wireless solutions for multi-drone coordination and

communication with ground stations.

 Optimization : Enhance signal reliability, range, and throughput in challenging environments.

 Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues during simulations and live

deployments.

 Compliance : Ensure all wireless systems meet regulatory standards (e.g., FCC, ETSI).

 Collaboration : Work closely with hardware, software, and systems engineers to integrate

wireless solutions seamlessly.

 Innovation : Stay updated on emerging wireless technologies and recommend their adoption.

Qualifications Required

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication

Engineering, or related fields.

 3+ years of experience in wireless communication systems development.

 Deep knowledge of RF communication, antenna design, and protocols like Wi-Fi, Zigbee, or

Bluetooth.

 Experience with wireless network simulation and performance analysis tools.

 Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB) for signal processing

and simulation.

 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Attributes :

 Familiarity with drone communication frameworks and protocols (e.g., MAVLink, Drone

code).

 Experience with 5G / 6G technologies or mesh networking for IoT devices.

 Hands-on experience with drone systems or UAVs.

 Knowledge of encryption and cybersecurity in wireless systems.

 Familiarity with cloud-based telemetry and IoT platforms.
