Mech Design Engr II

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mech Design Engr II to join our team at Sparta Systems. In this role, you will be crucial in the design, verification, and technical quality of mechanical systems, particularly within material handling and automation projects, ensuring efficient and safe utilization of resources.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Create and verify conveyor layout, detail, structural drawings, schematics, and equipment orders.
• Plan equipment layout and material flow to ensure efficient and safe utilization of resources.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop and apply material handling solutions.
• Perform a variety of calculations and prepare detailed multi-view drawings based on engineering data.
• Support field activities by identifying safety concerns, confirming installations, and adjusting designs as needed while communicating with various stakeholders.
• Ensure the technical quality and effectiveness of mechanical designs.
• Deliver in-house assignments per agreed timelines and quality standards for 2D / 3D CAD work.
• Manage mechanical project elements, including planning, reporting, and overseeing execution, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Take full ownership of mechanical project tasks throughout the project life cycle.
