Job descriptionClearly document APIs through code-level annotations and maintain detailed technical Skills and Qualifications : Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related technical field. 5+ years of hands-on Java coding experience. Strong proficiency in developing RESTful APIs (SOAP APIs optional). Proven coding expertise integrating enterprise systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, or other Extensive experience handling data interchange formats like XML, JSON, and YAML in coding Deep understanding and extensive coding experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Familiarity with authentication frameworks, particularly OAuth 2.0 and JWT. Demonstrable knowledge of agile development methodologies (Scrum / Kanban). Excellent communication and collaborative coding practices. Experience working with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar. Proficiency with IDEs like IntelliJ (including cursor tools), and other relevant development Proficiency in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit. Experience coding cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP). Coding proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles. Advanced understanding of secure API coding and best practices. Hands-on coding experience with integration middleware (MuleSoft, Apache Camel, etc.).
Key Responsibilities :
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable Java code for integration services and APIs.
- Develop and deploy RESTful APIs (SOAP APIs optional) to seamlessly integrate business applications including ERP and CRM platforms like NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, resolve complex integration challenges, and deliver high-quality coding solutions.
- Handle data formats including JSON, XML, and YAML effectively within code.
- Develop scalable microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Continuously improve coding standards, code quality, and best practices.
- Perform rigorous code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure coding consistency.
- Mentor junior developers, helping to enhance their coding proficiency.
- Implement secure coding practices including authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT,
etc.).
