About the Role
This isn’t your typical “sales management” job.
This is a ground-zero leadership role — where you’ll be building India’s first monk-fruit soda distribution network from scratch .
As our Sales Head , you’ll lead the commercial rollout of Bubz across India. You’ll create the playbook for how a modern beverage brand enters the market — one retail shelf, one café, one gym, one distributor at a time.
You’ll be in charge of everything from designing the GTM (Go-To-Market) strategy to onboarding regional partners, managing margins, expanding into new cities, and leading field activations that convert buzz into revenue.
You won’t inherit a system — you’ll build it.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute a pan-India distribution roadmap — starting with Mumbai and scaling across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.
- Create city-wise expansion plans and define revenue targets by channel (Retail, HoReCa, Chemists, and Modern Trade).
- Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, super stockists, and key retail partners.
- Define channel margins, credit terms, and pricing structures for different verticals.
- Regularly analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities.
2. Retail & Channel Management
Establish Bubz’s presence in modern trade, general trade, and on-premise channels.Build strong partnerships with cafés, restaurants, gyms, and bars for placement and visibility.Drive sell-through — ensuring distributors and retailers reorder consistently.Negotiate listings, display agreements, and placement with retail chains and independent stores.Ensure brand visibility and compliance through planograms, POSM, and sampling drives.3. HoReCa & Institutional Sales
Build deep relationships with HoReCa partners (cafés, bars, quick-service restaurants).Explore corporate tie-ups, college canteens, and co-working hubs for product penetration.Manage accounts end-to-end — from supply agreements to invoicing and credit management.4. Leadership, Data & Execution
Build and lead a small but sharp sales team (executives + field reps) as volume grows.Design sales KPIs, incentive structures, and reporting frameworks.Use CRM and sales dashboards to track outlet performance, collections, and dispatches.Work closely with operations for forecasting, inventory planning, and logistics coordination.Collaborate with marketing to synchronize product launches, sampling campaigns, and events.5. Brand Building & Field Activation
Drive visibility across retail through sampling programs, point-of-sale materials , and micro-events.Execute collaborations with partner cafés, gyms, and bars to build consumer awareness.Work with marketing to turn offline moments into online stories — building Bubz as both a product and a movement.What Success Looks Like

Requirements
3–8 years of experience in FMCG, Beverage, or D2C sales (distribution network creation experience is a huge plus).Proven success in retail expansion, distributor management, and field execution.Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and market analysis skills.Strategic mindset with a founder-like approach to ownership and results.Comfort with data — forecasting, tracking, and optimizing performance.Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.Open to ambitious, high-energy freshers who’ve hustled in ground-level sales or events.Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to fast-moving startup rhythms.Work Culture
