The Business Systems Manager will lead the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce and other business system solutions across the organization. This role combines strong technical expertise with strategic vision, ensuring that Salesforce and integrated systems align with enterprise objectives, scale effectively, and deliver measurable business value. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure system reliability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Strategy
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce Developers and Administrators.
- Define and execute the long-term technical roadmap for Salesforce and related business systems.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Salesforce development—from design and build to deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Ensure alignment of Salesforce development with enterprise architecture, business goals, and cross-functional initiatives.
Systems Analysis & Design
Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and well-architected solutions on the Salesforce platform.Design and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce Pages, and Aura Components .Architect and implement SOAP and REST-based integrations across enterprise systems to ensure seamless interoperability.Utilize .NET, Java, and SQL skills to support and enhance non-Salesforce applications in hybrid environments.Maintain detailed technical and design documentation for all implemented systems and integrations.Salesforce Administration, Configuration & Development
Build, configure, and manage Salesforce environments with a strong focus on declarative automation (flows, validation rules, and process automation).Support existing custom Apex code, Lightning components, and third-party integrations .Implement best practices in security, configuration, and system maintenance .Stay current with Salesforce platform releases and leverage new capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.Business Analysis & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and IT to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into technical deliverables.Serve as a trusted advisor on Salesforce solutions and integrations that enhance business performance.Drive cross-functional initiatives to ensure Salesforce is effectively embedded within broader enterprise workflows.Balance creative problem-solving with analytical rigor to deliver scalable, business-aligned solutions.Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Salesforce or business systems management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.Expertise in Salesforce architecture, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and integrations (SOAP / REST APIs) .Strong understanding of enterprise system design , data models , and integration frameworks .Proficiency in .NET, Java, SQL , and related technologies supporting multi-platform environments.Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and system implementations.Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect preferred.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field .Skills Required
