Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with System Architects, Product Managers, and suppliers to manage business analysis activities and ensure alignment with product and engineering goals
- Capture customer voice to define business processes and translate them into product needs
- Define scope and value for new capabilities in collaboration with Product Managers and stakeholders
- Ensure inclusion of non-functional requirements in product and release backlogs
- Break down Epics into Features and User Stories and participate in backlog refinement sessions
- Write clear, concise User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in tools such as Jira
- Ensure a well-defined Definition of Done and traceable requirements
- Facilitate product demonstrations for stakeholders and document configuration changes
- Develop and implement detailed test strategies and perform both manual and automated testing
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers for resolution
- Validate test scenarios against acceptance criteria and customer expectations
- Serve as a liaison between global Technology, AI / Data teams, and business units
- Manage internal custom platforms, COTS, SaaS, and integrated systems
- Identify and mitigate system-related risks, including validation, acceptance, and incident response
- Track and resolve system incidents, integration failures, and performance issues
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate ticket resolution with SaaS vendors
- Communicate incident status to business stakeholders and maintain traceable logs
- Understand legal workflow dependencies and act quickly to minimize business disruption
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with 5 to 9 years of experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or Information SystemsMust-Have Skills
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply technology to complex challengesExperience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum)Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with leadership and technical teamsExperience in writing business and functional requirements for modern web applicationsExperience with Agile tools like Jira for writing user stories and acceptance criteriaProficiency in SharePoint administration including user access, forms, document libraries, and workflowsGood-to-Have Skills
Experience with Legal and / or Compliance systemsUnderstanding of software governance and strategic planningExperience managing product features for PI planning and roadmap definitionFamiliarity with low-code / no-code automation toolsExperience communicating technical concepts in business languageExposure to Jira Align for portfolio-level planningExperience with Lucidchart or Visio for system diagrams and process mapsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)Familiarity with Tableau or similar visualization toolsExperience using OpenAI tools for structured content generation and data mappingProfessional Certifications
