L1 – OCP Monitoring & Support Operations (Platform Technician)
Role Focus : Daily Ops, Monitoring, 1st-Level Support
Location : Gurugram

Key Responsibilities :
Perform 24x7 monitoring of clusters, nodes, pods, and services via oc CLI and OpenShift Console.
Execute SOPs and health checks for clusters and platform components.
Handle incident alerts, perform basic triage, and escalate to L2.
Support basic administrative tasks (RBAC, Projects, ConfigMaps).
Perform scheduled maintenance verifications and backups.
Generate daily / weekly platform health reports.

Roles and Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and maintain Openshift environments
- Ensure high availability and reliability of the Openshift platform
- Monitor and optimize cluster performance
- Hands on Exp on ODF (Ceph storage )
- Implement security best practices within the cluster
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Openshift environment
- Collaborate with development teams for seamless application deployment
- Document procedures and provide training to team members
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery operations
Must Have Skills :
3-6+ years of experience in administrating Kubernetes or Openshift environments.Hands on Exp on ODF (Ceph storage )Strong understanding of containerization technologiesExperience with CI / CD tools and practicesKnowledge of networking and security within containerized environmentsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills Core Tools & Technology StackRed Hat OpenShift , ODF Ceph storage , Loki stack, Container ,Docker,CI / CD pipelines,Ansible,Linux administration,Git,Prometheus / Grafana,sdn, OVN kubernets ,Networking,Shell scripting.Qualification :
