Position Overview :
The Head of Investor Relations will be responsible for developing and executing an effective investor relations strategy, ensuring fundraising and effective communication with current and potential investors. This role will also support CarePal Group's financial analysis, strategy, and due diligence efforts, leveraging strong financial acumen and strategic insight. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Fundraising, financial analysis, strategic planning, and due diligence, preferably gained within a high-growth startup environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Fundraising & Investor Engagement :
- Drive the company’s equity and venture debt fundraising strategy, including identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with venture capital, private equity, institutional investors, and other funding partners.
- Develop compelling financial and strategic narratives for investor updates, pitch decks, and communications..
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and other stakeholders to effectively
communicate the company's vision, strategy, and financial performance.
Financial Analysis and Strategy :
Provide strategic, financial analysis to senior management to support decision-making, with a focus on profitability, growth, and market expansion.Work closely with the finance team to track key performance indicators (KPIs), develop financialmodels, and assist in budget forecasting and financial planning.
Analyze market trends and competitive positioning to inform strategic decisions and communicate findings to both internal stakeholders and investors.Due Diligence for Fundraising and M&A Activities :
Lead financial, tax, and legal due diligence for potential fundraising, M&A, and future IPO readiness.Assist in assessing the financial health of potential targets, analyzing synergies, and preparing financial reports and recommendations.Conduct valuations and financial modeling to support the evaluation of potential investmentopportunities.
Corporate Governance and Compliance :
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to investor relations and financial reporting.Monitor and assess industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions that may impactinvestor sentiment or company valuation.
Support internal teams in preparing for shareholder meetings, annual general meetings (AGMs), and other shareholder communications.Qualifications :
Education : A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA, CFA, or other professional certifications are a plus.
Experience :
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity, ideally with exposure to a high-growth environment.Proven track record of leading equity and venture debt fundraising, due diligence, and board reporting in high-growth companies (preferably Series B+ startups or pre-IPO businesses).Background in financial, tax, legal due diligence processes, preferably from a VC / PE-funded startup.Familiarity with IPO processes and public markets is highly desirableWhy Join CarePal Group?
