The incumbent will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for architecting and executing the firm’s capital formation and investor engagement strategy. The ideal candidate will bring a deep institutional network, a nuanced understanding of private credit markets, and a demonstrated track record of raising capital from sophisticated global investors.
About Role
This individual will lead the end-to-end fundraising lifecycle — from origination and relationship development to fund closings and ongoing investor dialogue — while also shaping the firm’s strategic positioning in an increasingly competitive landscape
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a core member of the executive team, contributing to overall firm strategy, growth planning, and governance.
- Define and lead the global fundraising strategy across all private credit and customized investor mandates.
- Provide thought leadership on market positioning, product innovation, and strategic partnerships.
- Capital Formation
- Lead all capital raising activities, including the launch and execution of flagship funds, co-investments etc
- Maintain and deepen relationships with a global base of institutional investors, including PE Fund Houses, FOF, Institutional, family offices.
- Identify and cultivate new pools of capital across geographies and investor segments.
- Investor Relations & Communications
- Oversee the firm’s investor communications strategy, ensuring transparent, consistent, and institutional-grade reporting and engagement.
- Coordinate meetings, roadshows, and conferences with investors, analysts, and stakeholders to discuss the firm's performance and outlook
- Collaborate with senior investment professionals to articulate the firm’s investment philosophy, performance, and differentiation.
- Lead the development of all marketing and due diligence materials (e.g., pitch decks, PPMs, DDQs, RFPs).
Team Development
Build and lead a high calibre fundraising and investor relations team.Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, relationship excellence,and strategic execution.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with investment, legal, finance, compliance, and operations teams to ensure alignment between fundraising activities and overall business objectives.Support fund structuring, product development, and regulatory readiness from a capital markets perspective.Experience & Qualifications
15+ years of progressively senior experience in fundraising or investor relations, preferably within private credit, private equity, or broader alternative investments.Strong understanding of SEBI regulations and private equity marketsProven track record of successful capital raising from global institutional investors.Demonstrated ability to lead capital formation efforts in both established and emergingmarkets.Deep familiarity with private credit strategies, fund structures, LP requirements.Skills & AttributesExceptional executive presence, communication skills, and relationship-building capabilities.Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and deep understanding of the capital allocator landscape.Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a lean, fast-growing environment.Integrity, discretion, and a commitment to long-term partnership with LPs.Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, CA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
