Job Summary :

Plans, schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of material by planning, setting up and releasing work orders to provide continuous product flow and on-time delivery of customer orders.

Principal Responsibilities :

• Determines material needs and availability of stock .
• Works closely with operations, purchasing, engineering, and quality departments to achieve production goals.
• Insures that the required parts and materials are available to meet both customer and inventory needs.
• Rearranges schedules to meet changing requirements such as customer orders, manpower, or material shortages and plant load.
• Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity creates and maintains bills of material and parts / commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise wide systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
