We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Site Supply Planner to manage and optimize our plant's supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capacity management, facilitating the plant's Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and serving as the primary liaison for Global Supply Planning. This role requires strong communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and proficiency in relevant planning and ERP software.
Primary Purpose :
- Regularly review generic capacity management for the plant.
- Facilitate and drive plant S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes.
- Act as the single point of contact in the plant for Global Supply Planning .
Duties & Responsibilities :
Own and Develop Plant Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) , both generic and specific.Analyze all work centers and hierarchies for capacity overloads and under-loads (versus Plant Planning Requirements and global demand plan) to identify areas for further investigation during the Supply Planning Review.Facilitate the Plant Supply Review meeting .Take ownership of Story Board development , including proposing initial categorizations (1,2,3,4) and reasons (man, machine, material), which are finalized during the Supply Planning Review and reported to product management and included in the Executive Meeting.Liaise with Global Demand Planners on demand clarifications.Manage the loading of low-risk component MPS (Master Production Schedule) into APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) at the plant level based on Plan for Every Part (PFEP) / Product Segmentation Analysis, which drives ATO (Assemble-to-Order).Take ownership of inventory for ATO products .Serve as the single-point-of-contact in the plant for the Global Supply Planner & Inventory Planner in resolving identified issues or making changes (e.g., CIC - Component Inventory Control).Work with the Global Supply Planner, Scheduler & Operations on short- and medium-term actions to address CRD (Confirmed Requested Date) performance issues.Take ownership of Site Planning Material Master Data Management (Lot size rule, Min Lot Size Qty, Published Lead-time).Publish monthly plant attainment reports .Work with Supply Chain Hubs for positioning Finished Goods (FG) to achieve 100% service level and minimize freight costs.Own the complete Value Stream for the assigned product / product family and work on improving the lead time.Understand, support, and contribute to current Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO), and Environmental, and / or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned by management.Process all logistic report activities and send them to stakeholders.Education :
Required : College or above.Preferred : Major in Business Management or Supply Chain Management. APICS certification also required (or achieved early after recruitment).Skills & Abilities :
Good communication skills , logical and analytical talent is essential.Good written and spoken English .Positive-minded, self-starter who is a team player.Ability to grasp new technologies .Can drive change within the plant .Good PC skills especially MS Office, advanced Excel .Practical knowledge of SAP MM / PP / SD modules as well as Business Warehouse is preferred.Skills Required
