Autocad Designer

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer to support the design and development of gaskets, brake shims, and related sealing components. The candidate will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings, product layouts, and tooling designs for manufacturing and customer approval.

Tasks

Create and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings for gaskets, brake shims, and other sealing products.

Develop die layouts, cutting profiles, and punch tool drawings for production.

Prepare customer drawings and approval layouts based on samples or design inputs.

Coordinate with the production and toolroom teams to ensure drawing accuracy for fabrication.

Maintain and organize drawing files, revisions, and documentation .

Ensure designs comply with tolerances, material thickness, and manufacturing feasibility .

Support new product development (NPD) and prototype creation.

Communicate with customers and suppliers for technical clarifications when required.

Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (knowledge of SolidWorks or similar software is an advantage).

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in rubber, gasket, or sheet component design .

Understanding of manufacturing processes like die cutting, lamination, and adhesive application.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications .

Good teamwork and communication skills.
