Business Analyst – Insurance (London Market)

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with deep expertise in the London Insurance Market and a proven track record of delivering data-centric projects within the General Insurance domain . This role will serve as a vital bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams—ensuring requirements are clearly captured, solutions align with business goals, and industry standards are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements .
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and process analysis to understand current operations and identify improvements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and data models .
- Partner with development, data engineering, and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented effectively.
- Support UAT planning & execution including test case design, execution oversight, and defect management.
- Analyze and optimize workflows across underwriting, claims, policy administration, and finance .
- Lead initiatives in data migration, cleansing, and system integration during system transitions.
- Drive decommissioning of legacy platforms and support migration to modern Policy Administration Systems (PAS) .
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, data governance, and quality standards .
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of Business Analyst experience with strong exposure to London Market Insurance .Hands-on experience with data-centric projects in General Insurance.Strong knowledge of the insurance lifecycle (underwriting, claims, policy admin, finance).Expertise in writing BRDs / FRDs, data models, and process flows .Proven experience in data migration, data cleansing, and system integration .Familiarity with Policy Administration Systems (PAS) and legacy platform decommissioning.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills .Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks within the London Market.
