Job Title : Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Consultant
Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in driving the technical implementation, customization, and support of Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud solutions. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and development teams to design and deliver robust, scalable, and efficient HCM solutions that align with organizational HR and business needs.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, with a deep understanding of configuration, customization, integration, and troubleshooting within the HCM modules.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Oracle Fusion HCM Implementation & Configuration :
- Design, configure, and implement Oracle HCM Cloud functionalities such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, Time & Labor, and Talent Management.
- Ensure HCM solutions are aligned with business workflows, compliance standards, and best practices.
2. Customization & Development :
Develop and customize HCM applications using BI Publisher, OTBI, Oracle Application Composer, and Page Composer.Create reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable HR insights.Extend standard functionality to meet specific client requirements.3. Integration :
Design, build, and manage integrations between Oracle HCM and other systems (payroll, third-party HR systems, benefits providers, recruitment platforms).Utilize SOAP / REST APIs, Web Services, HCM Extracts, and FBDI for seamless data flow across systems.4. Technical Support & Troubleshooting :
Provide L2 / L3 technical support for Oracle HCM applications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, configurations, and custom developments.Perform root cause analysis and propose long-term fixes.5. Data Migration & Management :
Lead data migration activities from legacy systems into Oracle HCM.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency during migrations and post-go-live.6. Testing & Quality Assurance :
Support system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Validate customizations, configurations, and integrations to ensure quality and performance standards.7. Documentation & Training :
Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and user guides.Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for end-users and technical teams.8. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :
Work closely with functional consultants, HR teams, and business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.Collaborate with global teams to ensure timely project delivery, adherence to SLAs, and client satisfaction.Required Skills & Experience :
3 - 7 years of experience as a Technical Consultant in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud.Strong expertise in Oracle HCM configuration, customization, and development.Hands-on experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, Oracle Application Composer, and Page Composer.Proficiency in REST / SOAP APIs, Web Services, HCM Extracts, and FBDI.Strong knowledge of integration frameworks and middleware.Experience in data migration, validation, and reconciliation.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical stakeholders.Nice to Have :
Oracle Fusion Talent Management, Payroll, and Benefits module knowledge.Oracle Cloud certifications (HCM).Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.Prior exposure to global HR implementations.(ref : hirist.tech)
