Backend Developer

Job descriptionDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript Build secure and scalable APIs (RESTful; GraphQL knowledge is a plus) Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for schema design, data modeling, optimization, and migrations Deploy and manage applications on AWS within Linux / Unix environments Implement CI / CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments Collaborate with frontend developers (Next.js) and AI teams (Python-based solutions) Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability Follow security best practices to safeguard systems and data Contribute to agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 2–3 years of experience with Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript Proficiency with MongoDB and PostgreSQL (schema design, optimization) Strong knowledge of AWS and Linux / Unix environments Experience with authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC) Familiarity with Docker and CI / CD tools Strong testing background (Jest, Mocha, Supertest) Knowledge of Python for backend scripting or AI / ML integrations (advantage) Exposure to frontend-backend integration with Next.js (plus) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Clear communication and documentation abilities Effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams Adaptability to learn new technologies quickly Ownership and accountability for deliverables Ability to thrive in agile, fast-paced environments Opportunity to work on diverse projects across web, mobile, cloud, and AI Collaborative and growth-oriented culture with continuous learning Exposure to modern tools, technologies, and cloud-native practices Competitive compensation and benefits package
