AI Development Expert

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Researcher to contribute to advancing the field of AI development. This is a fully remote position, initially a 3-month research engagement with the potential for extension or full-time offer based on performance and research contributions.

As a Machine Learning Researcher at MERCY Corporation, you will work on cutting-edge research projects, build experimental prototypes, and document your findings through technical publications. Your tasks will include researching and implementing advanced techniques like LoRA, Fine-Tuning, Transfer Learning, RLHF, GRPO, and emerging training methodologies in experimental settings.

You will be responsible for reading and analyzing recent research papers, reproducing key findings, and contributing to our understanding of state-of-the-art AI concepts. Additionally, you will design and conduct experiments for client-facing research projects under the guidance of senior researchers.

• Research and implement advanced techniques like LoRA, Fine-Tuning, Transfer Learning, RLHF, GRPO, and emerging training methodologies in experimental settings.
• Read and analyze recent research papers, reproduce key findings, and contribute to our understanding of state-of-the-art AI concepts.
• Design and conduct experiments for client-facing research projects under the guidance of senior researchers.
• Document your research journey by writing technical articles and research summaries that explain complex AI topics and your experimental findings.
