Admissions Manager

As Admissions Team Manager for our India-based operation, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our operations for India-based staff. You will have responsibility for general oversight of the day-to-day running and effective operations of the office, working collaboratively with UK-based Admissions Managers to ensure that work is delivered to the required quality and standard, and that output is in line with expectations and delivered within agreed

timeframes / SLAs.

As part of the Admissions Leadership Team, you will work with a conscientious mindset, updating the relevant Heads of Admissions and / or UK Admissions Managers on matters that may impact operational delivery, including staff leave / absence and performance. You will work closely with UK Admissions Managers in monitoring and reviewing staff performance (both output and quality) and support them in implementing additional measures or reviews where required. You will also be required to attend leadership team meetings, providing relevant updates, and support data or reporting needs.

Working in partnership with UK Admissions Managers and supported by Senior Admissions Officers (India), you will ensure that our partner(s)' admissions operations are delivered in accordance with their requirements and processes, ensuring compliance and adherence to quality standards and SLAs.

Responsibilities

The desired candidate's day-to-day responsibilities will include :

• Oversee day-to-day operations and performance of the India-based admissions team, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Analyse recurring challenges and quality issues, identify root causes, and implement strategic solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with UK-based Admissions Managers, Heads of Admissions, and other stakeholders to resolve operational challenges.
• Produce regular performance reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and development areas.
• Lead, coach, and develop the admissions team through performance management, skills gap analysis, and training initiatives.
• Manage HR functions for direct reports, including recruitment, onboarding, appraisals, and professional development.
• Ensure an excellent applicant experience is delivered at all touchpoints.
• Coordinate with UK counterparts to ensure staff development, quality, and performance remain on track.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage leave schedules while meeting operational SLAs.
• Represent the India Admissions Team in leadership meetings and present relevant updates.
• Identify and address operational issues, providing both immediate and long-term solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.
