Responsibilities
- Conduct Field Surveys : Perform land surveys to measure distances, elevations, and angles, and collect data on topographical features and boundaries using equipment like GPS and total stations.
- Prepare Drawings and Maps : Create and revise detailed technical drawings, site plans, plats, and maps based on survey data using CAD software.
- Analyze and Interpret Data : Read and interpret topographic maps, survey reports, and legal descriptions to ensure accuracy in project plans and boundary definitions.
- Maintain Equipment and Records : Maintain, calibrate, and repair surveying equipment. Also, maintain project documentation, drawing logs, and survey records.
- Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with engineers, architects, and other project teams to provide technical support, coordinate activities, and ensure designs meet specifications.
- Ensure Compliance : Verify that all survey work and drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and legal regulations.
- Communicate Findings : Prepare and present reports, maps, and data to clients and other stakeholders.
