Role Overview
We are looking for a
Plant & Machinery (P&M) Engineer
who can take complete ownership of
equipment operations, maintenance, logistics, manpower coordination, and client communication .
The role involves
end-to-end coordination
— from equipment readiness and deployment to daily operation tracking, operator management, and preventive maintenance planning.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate daily operations of heavy equipment such as crawler cranes, piling rigs, vibro hammers, all-terrain cranes, and manlifts.
Ensure smooth
mobilization, demobilization, and transportation
of equipment to and from project sites.
Oversee
maintenance and servicing schedules , preventive and breakdown maintenance, and ensure minimum equipment downtime.
Coordinate with
operators, mechanics, and site engineers
for site-level operational support.
Manage
operator deployment , and
gate pass renewals / safety compliance
for project sites.
Liaise with clients for daily operations, inspection, and performance updates.
Coordinate with the
Purchase, Stores, and Accounts
departments for spare parts, consumables, and maintenance-related approvals.
Maintain accurate records of
equipment logbooks, fuel consumption, running hours, and service history.
Prepare daily / weekly MIS reports on equipment performance and utilization.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in
Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.
5–15 years
of experience in Plant & Machinery or Equipment Operations (preferably in the construction / equipment rental industry).
Strong technical knowledge of
Crawler Cranes, Piling Rigs, Vibro Hammers, All-Terrain Cranes, and Manlifts.
Hands-on experience in
maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and operations coordination.
Good communication and client-handling skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP-based reporting.
Willingness to travel to project sites PAN India.
