The Baby Atelier (TBA) is a premium children's interior design studio and product brand dedicated to crafting thoughtful, design-led spaces and essentials for all ages. Our work spans nurseries, bedrooms, playrooms, and study areas, as well as developmentally aligned spaces for schools, hospitals, and public environments. We specialise in blending high design with functionality, creating products and spaces that grow with children and promote independence.
Our product range includes bed and bath linen, furniture, nightwear, gifts, and accessories, available through our boutique in Bangalore, partner portals, and online store. In India, we work closely with architects, interior designers, and direct clients to deliver 360-degree solutions — from design to production, civil work, furnishings, and décor.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with India-based suppliers, manufacturers, and artisans.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality standards.
- Ensure production schedules are met and vendor communications are seamless.
Quality Control
Implement and oversee quality control checks at vendor sites.Ensure products meet design, finish, and safety standards before dispatch.Resolve quality issues with vendors through corrective action plans.Showroom Operations
Manage daily showroom activities, ensuring visual merchandising, stock levels, and customer experience meet brand standards.Coordinate inventory flow between warehouse and showroom.Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics
Maintain accurate stock levels across warehouse, showroom, and online channels.Oversee inbound & outbound logistics, ensuring timely and damage-free deliveries.Order & Project Fulfilment
Oversee B2C and B2B order processing.Track production for custom furniture and design projects.Team Management & Reporting
Lead warehouse, showroom, and dispatch teams in India.Develop SOPs and monitor KPIs for operational efficiency.Provide performance reports to senior management.Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field.5–7 years in operations management in retail, e-commerce, or interiors / furniture.Proven expertise in vendor management, quality control, and multi-location operations.Proficiency in ERP / inventory systems and MS Excel.Strong problem-solving, leadership, and negotiation skills.Preferred Skills
Experience in luxury retail or premium interiors.Knowledge of Shopify order management.Familiarity with India's domestic courier and distribution networks.Compensation : Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
