Role View :
The Plant Asset Management Engineer will be responsible for enhancing the performance and reliability of assets across water and wastewater treatment plants through the deployment and maintenance of CMMS systems. The role involves managing asset inventories, optimizing maintenance strategies, ensuring data consistency, and supporting continuous improvement through digital asset management tools such as Hexagon EAM.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) across operational sites.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and regular updates of asset inventories in the CMMS.
- Conduct asset criticality analysis and prepare optimized maintenance strategies and plans.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance strategies and recommend improvements.
- Participate in local Tex & Rex activities for knowledge exchange and technical discussions.
- Act as CMMS software administrator and lead deployment initiatives for WTP / WWTP projects.
- Implement necessary changes and improvements in CMMS software during the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase.
- Generate and manage customized and standard reports to support decision-making within defined timelines.
- Leverage SQL database knowledge for reporting, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
- Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing technical support for CMMS operations.
Educational Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Maintenance, or Electrical Engineering with relevant experience in plant asset management or CMMS administration.
Work Experience
Total Experience : 4 to 8 yearsHands-on experience in Hexagon EAM software administration is required.Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of asset management principles and maintenance planning.Experience with CMMS systems, preferably Hexagon EAM or equivalent platforms.Ability to analyze asset performance data and derive actionable insights.Good knowledge of SQL database management and reporting tools.Excellent communication and training delivery skills.Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional and on-site teams.
