About Team :

Finance team handling finance function for India, US, Canada and China

Role Summary :

Responsible for the P&L of Business unit, end-to-end accounting, MIS reporting, handling AR and AP. Partner with Business to ensure smooth flow of operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Month-End and Year-End Close : handling the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately, and any discrepancies are resolved efficiently

Accruals and Provisions : Calculate and record accruals and provisions in line with company policies and accounting standards

Revenue : Post the Revenue recognition entries monthly

Payroll Accounting, Vendor invoice accounting and payments, Customer Invoicing and collections

Regulatory Compliance : Handling internal and corporate Audit for the business units assigned. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations

Preparation of Financial Statements : Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

Variance Analysis : Conduct detailed financial analysis, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow variances, and present insights to senior management.

Forecasting and Budgeting : Lead the preparation and regular review of financial forecasts and budgets, providing strategic recommendations based on financial trends and business conditions

Complex Reconciliations : Perform and review reconciliations of high-value and complex accounts, including intercompany accounts and multi-currency transactions

Internal Controls : Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks

Closely work with Business team and act as one point of contact for the business unit

Required Skills and Experience

Must Have :

• 2 - 3 years' financial analysis and reporting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting.
• Excel Expertise : High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like macros, lookups, and pivot tables.
• Ability to handle large volume of data in Excel, ability to think and quickly respond for the ad hoc requests come from business to provide any kind of MIS
• Good to Have : Knowledge of Net suite.

Education : Qualified CA
