POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team to oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and optimization of our advanced BSFL processing equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex mechanical systems including disc dryers, screw presses, evaporators, and auxiliary processing equipment with capacities ranging from 500 kg / h to 2 tons / h.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
Industry Experience (Mandatory)
5-8 years of experience in food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or oil processing industries
Specific experience with thermal processing equipment, drying systems, and oil extraction machinery
Background in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments strongly preferred
KEY TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment Design & Engineering
Design and optimize mechanical systems for BSFL processing including disc dryers with 44m² heating surface area and 34 carbon steel discs
Engineer screw press systems with hardened worm equipment and 15 kW drives for oil extraction processes
Develop specifications for heating systems operating at 0.6MPa working pressure and 380V three-phase power supply
Design and implement proportioning screw systems with double jacket thermal oil heating and frequency transformer control
Process Equipment Management
Oversee operation of steam cookers with hollow screw rotors, adjustable rotation speeds (1-10rpm), and VFD control systems
Manage double screw press systems with conical screws for high pressing efficiency and optimum meal rendering
Supervise disc dryer operations with double-layer disc technology, 148m² total heating area, and jacket heating systems
Control evaporator systems operating under vacuum conditions with falling film technology and PLC automation
Specialized Systems Engineering
Engineer chamber filter press systems with 9.9 m² filter area, hydraulic closure, and eccentric screw pumps
Design and maintain crude oil tank systems with 1.3 m³ capacity, stirrer drives, and pillow plate heating
Implement decanter systems operating at 4000 rpm with separation coefficients of 3100 for sludge separation
Manage HVAC and air handling systems for odor control and environmental compliance
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS EXPERTISE
Material Science & Engineering
Expertise in stainless steel grades (SS304, SS316) for food-grade applications
Knowledge of carbon steel construction (16mm thickness) with stainless steel cladding (3mm) for corrosion resistance
Understanding of wear protection materials including stainless steel U-caps and scraper bars
Experience with propylene filter plates and carborundum hard alloy steel coatings
Process Control & Instrumentation
Programming and operation of Siemens PLC systems with 9" touch panel interfaces
Installation and calibration of PT100 temperature probes for automated process control
Design of level switches, sensors, and automated pumping systems
Implementation of VFD control systems for variable speed operations
Thermal & Fluid Systems
Steam system design including pressure reducing valves, expansion joints, and steam traps
Heat exchanger design with SS304 construction and specific heating areas (14m², 200m²)
Vacuum system engineering with pumps operating at specific flow rates (0.6m³ / h cooling water)
Thermal insulation systems using 80mm Rockwool with TIG welded stainless cladding

Project Management
Lead installation and commissioning of new equipment with vendor support teams
Coordinate with international suppliers for equipment procurement and technical support
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for equipment upgrades and modifications
Oversee installation materials including pipes, valves, and steel sheets for complete plant erection
