Main Purpose :
Carry out day to day Corrosion monitoring and Inspection of static equipment. Carry out thickness monitoring, external & internal inspection, NDE, CUI, Hydrotesting and corrosion assessment of Pressure Vessels, Column, Tanks, Piping as per SAP Schedule and inspection outcome. Carry out condition monitoring of all rotary equipment using vibration analysis technique for equipment installed at GGS and well sites and support Maintenance Team for improving reliability and integrity of plant equipment.
Job Accountabilities :
Provide strong technical leadership in Inspection / Corrosion Management for E&P assets
Thickness Inspection of static Equipment, corrosion analysis and report preparation.
Prepare / update Corrosion Manual and implement Risk Based Inspection (RBI)
Degradation evaluations related to pressure equipment, heat exchangers, piping circuits, flares, above ground storage tanks, and / or pressure relief devices through systematic NDE inspection techniques as per statutory compliances and RAGAGEP.
Provide effective technical advice to the maintenance team, ensuring threats are evaluated, procedures are followed and work is completed in accordance with the company's technical procedures.
Plan and carry out other Mechanical Integrity activities (Corrosion under Insulation -CUI), SBCs, dead ends, corrosion at pipe supports, within the agreed time-frame and frequency, issue inspection reports with recommendations, issue regular progress reports / MIS and track recommendations to completion
Ensure that any actions arising from inspection activities are fully reported and communicated.
Perform root cause analysis and failure investigation on systems and equipment, as required.
Create / update and execute Condition Monitoring / Predictive Maintenance plans and schedules for all rotary equipment. Carry out analysis of vibration plots, and other PdM reports / data, issue recommendations and maintain records
Prepare / review annual budget, carry out procurement of materials and services within approved budget for all inspection, non-destructive testing and condition monitoring activities.
Plan Mechanical Integrity audits. Carry out Inspection, quality assurance, maintenance and safety audits as required.
Managing inspection data in systems such as Meridium, SAP, BIF etc.
Participating in development of inspection and test plans for plant equipment
Will be responsible for day to day monitoring of Contractor's performance in terms of progress and Manpower & Equipment's deployment status.
Qualification :
Masters or Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Metallurgy engineering from a recognised university
Certification and in-depth working knowledge in API 580, API 510, API 570, API 571, API 653, BSI ISO / ENI AS Standards, AWS / CSWIP / ASNT NDT Techniques
Experience :
Minimum of 6 years of working experience in upstream (E&P) Oil / Gas, Petrochemical industry in maintenance functions.
