Role overview

We are seeking a Software License Compliance Manager to join our team. This role is not focused on ensuring a company’s own license compliance or conducting internal audits. Instead, it involves investigating cases of software piracy, handling unlicensed usage, and negotiating settlements with companies found to be using SolidCAM software without valid licenses.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in License Compliance and Anti-Piracy, along with strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth investigations, analyzing software usage data from technical tools such as Phone Home or telemetry systems, preparing detailed reports and case documentation, and negotiating commercial agreements with companies found to be non-compliant. The role also involves managing communication with legal counsel, sales team, and other involved parties, ensuring that all cases are handled professionally, efficiently, and in line with company policies.

This is a highly collaborative and impactful position within our global compliance team, offering the chance to contribute to strategic anti-piracy initiatives and protect the value of our software solutions.

SolidCAM’s License Compliance Program safeguards the company’s intellectual property by identifying and addressing unauthorized software use globally through advanced monitoring technologies. This program protects both SolidCAM and its customers from the legal, financial, and cybersecurity risks associated with unlicensed software.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse licence compliance reports and intelligence.
• Prepare and manage case files, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Engage with companies and reach commercial agreements.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
• Manage a case pipeline and drive successful case closures.
