AWS CDK

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 7+ years hands-on expertise in AWS CDK using TypeScript to help modernize infrastructure, ensure performance, and maintain security for cloud-hosted applications. This is a remote role requiring the ability to work independently, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK in TypeScript.
• Migrate legacy infrastructure to modern, scalable AWS solutions.
• Ensure the stability, performance, and security of cloud-hosted applications.
• Work autonomously and take full ownership of assigned tasks.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior DevOps engineers.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders using strong English communication skills.
• Contribute to project planning, tracking, and reporting activities.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

✅ Experience with ECS (Fargate) and Docker

✅ Strong knowledge of AWS RDS (Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL), including backup strategies, replication, and high availability

Deep AWS Expertise Required In :

✅ Security (IAM, encryption, policies)

✅ Scalable architecture design

✅ Containerization using Docker

✅ Networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups)

✅ Monitoring & Observability (CloudWatch, custom metrics)

✅ Performance tuning and optimization

✅ Golang (highly desirable)
