Content Strategist
Role Overview
The Senior Content Strategist is a pivotal leadership role at GKM IT, responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive content strategies that drive conversation, build trust, and inspire action for B2B and enterprise clients across various industries.
This role requires a highly experienced professional (minimum 7+ years) who can seamlessly transition between high-level strategy and hands-on content creation, with mandatory exposure to IT or SaaS content.
The incumbent will align all content initiatives with brand goals, buyer journeys, and marketing funnels, acting as a crucial link between creative output and measurable business results.
Core Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Strategic Content Frameworks : Design and execute comprehensive content strategies and frameworks that support client goals, extending across various digital platforms and channels.
- Content Governance : Develop, implement, and maintain rigorous tone of voice guidelines, style guides, and editorial calendars to ensure absolute consistency and quality across all external communications.
- SEO and Performance Focus : Demonstrate a strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research and planning, and content performance tracking (e.g., traffic, conversion rates, engagement) to continuously optimize content for maximum organic reach and impact.
- Hands-on Content Creation : Serve as a hands-on writer for a diverse range of high-value content assets, including, but not limited to : blogs, detailed website content, technical case studies, white papers, thought leadership articles, ad copies, LinkedIn blogs, and comprehensive email campaigns.
- Marketing Alignment : Possess the ability to align content with brand goals, buyer journeys, and marketing funnels (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU), ensuring content maps to specific stages of the customer lifecycle to nurture and convert leads.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as SEO specialists, UX / Design teams, Product Marketing, and Social Media teams to ensure seamless execution, content consistency, and maximum promotional impact across all platforms.
- Leadership and Mentorship : Exhibit Leadership and decision-making skills in managing content projects. Experience in managing / guiding / mentoring a small team size of content writers is a valuable added advantage.
