Role Description — Metal Casting Expert (Factory Role)

This is a full-time on-site role for a Metal Casting Expert at Curio Group’s Noida manufacturing facility .

The Metal Casting Expert will be responsible for managing and executing the entire metal casting process , from mold preparation and melting operations to finishing and quality inspection . The role requires deep technical knowledge, hands-on experience in foundry operations , and the ability to ensure consistent product quality for high-end home décor and giftware items.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end metal casting process — from mold design to finishing
• Supervise melting, pouring, and cooling operations while ensuring optimal temperatures and safety standards
• Conduct quality checks to detect casting defects and ensure precision
• Collaborate with production, design, and finishing teams to achieve product design goals
• Implement process improvements for better efficiency, surface finish, and waste reduction
• Maintain equipment, tools, and molds , ensuring readiness for production
• Train and guide junior technicians and workers in casting operations
• Maintain records and reports related to production, quality, and safety
