Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Evaluate potential opportunities by performing market intelligence, conducting primary and secondary research for the USA and Europe Pharma Business
- Drive strategic projects by coordinating activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide support in M&A projects for potential business expansion opportunities for acquired assets
- Prepare and present periodic reports for the opportunities worked on
- Strategy
- Leverage digital / technology platforms to prepare dashboards for management review
- Assist in preparing the future for the organization for the USA and International Markets
- Be updated with external market trends and prepare strategic plan for the business accordingly
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to eliminate or mitigate any business risk
- Portfolio and Business Development
- Provide support in evaluating and nominating products to strengthen the portfolio via In-house development for the UK and Canada markets
- Program Management - from nomination to completion of the overall portfolio process
- Proactively scout for partnering opportunities aligned with company's strategy of differentiated generics
- Business case preparation partnering with the business teams
- Actively participate in various reviews with key stakeholders to ensure the projects are progressing as per agreed terms
- A person should have commercial awareness primarily of markets like USA and Europe with the ability to work at a strategic and operational level.
- He / She should have a good eye for details and data analysis skills – used to working with and validating multi-source data to draw out truthful and actionable insights and reports to support decision making process.
- Good presentation and IT skills across Microsoft Office (intermediate-level Excel) with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- He / She should have a good interpersonal skills for co-ordination with various stakeholders across the globe.
- Desired academic qualifications : B.Pharm / M. Pharm + MBA / PGDBA
- Desired experience : 4+ years experience in Portfolio / BD / Consulting / Market Research / Corporate strategy / M&A
