About the Role :

We’re seeking a visionary Material Scientist or Mechanical Engineer to lead R&D and product formulation for India’s first 100% natural fibre–reinforced composite systems. You will drive experiments with hemp and flax fibres, develop bio-resin blends, and work toward 800–1000 MPa tensile-strength targets.

Responsibilities :

Design and test composite layups, fibre / resin ratios, and surface treatments.

Develop scalable processes for compression moulding, RTM, and hot pressing.

Collaborate with labs / universities for tensile, flexural, and impact testing.

Lead IP filings and technical documentation.

Build and manage a small R&D team.

Ideal Background :

PhD / M.Tech in Polymer Science, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering.

5+ years of experience in composite materials (epoxy, polyester, or bio-resins).

Knowledge of natural fibre surface chemistry and composite reinforcement.

Passion for sustainability and automotive materials innovation.

Equity : 15-17% + Co-founder title.
