About the Company :

Our client is based in Gurgaon, dedicated to revolutionizing financial services through cutting-edge technology. They specialize in building scalable, secure, and innovative financial solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business growth.

They are looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their Engineering function and drive the company's technology strategy.

Role Overview :

As the CTO, you will be responsible for defining the technology vision, product development, and infrastructure strategy. You will lead a high-performing engineering team, ensuring that the company's Fintech products are secure, scalable, and innovative.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy :

Develop and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
Identify and implement emerging Fintech technologies to enhance products.
Stay updated with regulatory and compliance requirements (RBI, PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.).

Engineering & Product Development :

Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team.

Oversee the architecture and development of secure, high-performance applications.

Implement best practices in DevOps, Cloud Computing (AWS / GCP / Azure), and Microservices.

Ensure seamless integration of AI, Blockchain, and Big Data where relevant.

Security, Compliance & Infrastructure :

Ensure data security, compliance, and risk management in Fintech solutions.

Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.

Lead the implementation of disaster recovery and cybersecurity measures.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

Work closely with Product, Business, and Operations teams to align technology with company goals.

Report technical strategies to executives, investors, and board members.

Build and maintain relationships with tech vendors, regulatory bodies, and fintech partners.

Key Qualifications & Experience :

15+ years of experience in technology and software engineering, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in Fintech, Banking, Payments, Lending, or WealthTech.

Strong expertise in Cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure), API architecture, Microservices, and DevOps.

Proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or other scalable technologies.

Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, and Big Data is a plus.

Strong understanding of high-scale, real-time transaction systems.

Familiarity with RBI, SEBI, PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001 compliance.

Experience in hiring, mentoring, and scaling engineering teamsc.
