Job Summary :
The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs, mapping telecom processes, and ensuring effective system integration between CRM, GIS, Network, and Inventory systems. The role involves bridging the gap between sales, operations, and technical teams to drive digital transformation, automation, and efficient service delivery in the telecom ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with Sales, Planning, and Network Operations teams to gather requirements for CRM, Smart SQ, Feasibility, and Service Delivery modules.
- Translate business needs into detailed Functional Specifications, User Stories, and Use Cases.
- Define and document workflows for processes like Feasibility Check, Lead Qualification, DCAF / RFS, Work Order Creation, and Ticket Management.
- Analyze API requirements for integrations with Lepton, Airtel, or other partner systems.
2. Solution Design & Coordination
Work closely with development and integration teams to design solutions involving API-based system integrations.Support testing teams during UAT, ensuring implemented solutions align with business expectations.Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure smooth data flow and interoperability between platforms.3. Stakeholder Management
Act as a bridge between Business (Sales, Operations, Network) and IT / Development teams.Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.Conduct training sessions and walkthroughs for new system features and process enhancements.4. Documentation & Governance
Prepare comprehensive documents : BRD, FSD, UAT Test Cases, Change Request Logs, and Integration Mapping Sheets.Ensure all deliverables follow standard telecom compliance and data privacy policies.Support audit and change management processes.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Telecommunications.6–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Telecom or ISP domain.Strong understanding of :Service Qualification workflowsDCAF / RFS / Provisioning processesCRM (Salesforce / Dynamics 365 / Custom CRM)API-based integrations and data flowProficiency in documentation tools : JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, Excel.Excellent communication and analytical skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with Smart SQ / Smart Inventory / GIS Feasibility systems.Familiarity with Network Inventory Systems, Fiber Route Planning, or OSS / BSS frameworks.Soft Skills :
