Job Summary : Responsible for driving team to meet AOP targets for responsible region and monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Customer engagement and driving technical product sales (recon, Ashwasan, Oil, D Check, Batteries, Repairs, Rebuild, retail products, and BD products, etc.)
2. Plans proactively for current pipeline; evaluates pipeline health (size, contents, progress); and adjusts sales strategy, plans, or activities accordingly.
3. Ensure the sales team maintains strong customer relationships and delivers exceptional customer service by visiting in fold and out of fold customers and generating opportunities.
4. Analyze sales data and prepare sales forecasts for the dealership's products and services.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute sales promotions and advertising campaigns.
6. Leads and drives utilization of Cummins tools and processes such as the Cummins Sales Process and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
7. Conducts negotiations according to company guidelines, including payment terms, timely approval of necessary documents and assists with collection of accounts receivables when needed.
8. Recruit, train, and onboard sales representatives to form a competent and motivated sales team. Coach the sales team to understand customer business and leverage it for up and cross selling and look for other business opportunities.
9. Set clear sales targets for each team member and provide guidance to achieve them.
Qualification / Experience : MBA – Marketing / BBA – Marketing / Any Gruaduate with 5 years experience in Sales & Marketing of Industrial Products.
