Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition :
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with importers, exporters, and other businesses requiring freight forwarding services.
Sales & Target Achievement :
Develop and execute sales plans, manage proposals and presentations, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Client Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, providing consultation and ensuring their logistics needs are met.
Market & Industry Analysis :
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs to identify business opportunities.
Contract Negotiation :
Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements with potential and existing clients to close deals effectively.
Operational Coordination :
Collaborate with operations, sales, and finance departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and provide customer support.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
