Lead Mobile App Developer

This role focuses on building and deploying high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic , Angular , and Capacitor , ensuring end-to-end readiness from development through publishing on the App Store and Play Store.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer, proficient at building high-performance, responsive apps with intuitive UI, a team leader skilled at managing people, projects, and technical delivery. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UI / UX designers, backend engineers, web developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless, reliable, and user-friendly mobile experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the mobile app development team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, feedback, and fostering a quality-first, collaborative culture.
• Plan sprints, manage backlog, monitor progress, resolve blockers, and ensure on-time delivery while driving Agile best practices.
• Design scalable, modular, and reusable app architectures; build maintainable cross-platform apps using Ionic (Angular) and Capacitor.
• Implement offline capabilities (sync, local storage, retry queues), secure API integrations, and handle native plugins (camera, push notifications, geolocation, file system).
• Ensure end-to-end readiness from development → staging → publishing on App Store / Play Store.
• Collaborate with UI / UX (Figma), backend (APIs / data contracts), web, QA, and DevOps to deliver consistent, high-quality user experiences.
• Optimize performance (startup time, smooth scrolling, memory, battery) using profiling tools; enforce automated testing and CI / CD.
• Oversee crash tracking, diagnostics, and resolution (Crashlytics, Sentry); drive best practices in code reviews, Git workflows, and team communication.

Qualifications

Education : MCA / BTech / BS / MTech / MS in Engineering or equivalent.

Experience : 6–9 years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
