Key Responsibilities :
- Fund Raising & Investor Relations :
- Identify, evaluate, and approach banks, NBFCs, private equity firms, and other financial institutions for debt and equity fundraising.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions.
- Prepare detailed project reports, financial models, business plans, and investor pitch decks.
- Negotiate term sheets, interest rates, repayment structures, and covenants.
- Ensure timely disbursement of funds for ongoing and new projects.
- Monitor utilization of funds and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Strategic Financial Planning :
- Align fundraising strategies with business growth and expansion plans.
- Forecast short-term and long-term capital requirements based on project timelines and cash flows.
- Advise on the financial implications of major decisions, joint ventures, or acquisitions.
- Compliance & Documentation :
- Ensure all financial and legal due diligence documentation is in place for funding proposals.
- Liaise with legal advisors, auditors, and internal teams for seamless documentation and compliance.
- Stay updated with RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory norms impacting fundraising and finance.
- Financial Controls & Reporting :
- Monitor the overall financial health of the company, especially from a capital structure and liquidity standpoint.
- Report to senior management on fundraising progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Prepare MIS reports, fund utilization reports, and lender / investor updates.
- Candidate Profile :
- 10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in fundraising roles within the construction, infrastructure, or related SME sectors.
- Proven track record in raising funds through term loans, working capital, project finance, and private placements.
- Strong understanding of project finance, real estate funding, and structured finance products.
- Excellent financial modeling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Well-networked in the banking and investor community.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
