Job Title : Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud)
About The Role :
We are looking for a talented L3 Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Windows, Cloud technologies, and Terraform to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Landing Zones and AWS (preferred).
This role is critical to the success of our cloud initiatives, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure.
You will play a key part in shaping our architectural direction, while also leading and mentoring team members to drive excellence across projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define system requirements and design robust, scalable architectures.
- Assess and modernize legacy designs with a focus on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable Cloud Landing Zones in AWS and Azure.
- Bring a minimum of 10+ years of hands-on technical experience in systems engineering and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Provide L3-level technical support for cloud environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across AWS, Azure, Windows and Linux platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Monitor systems for performance, cost efficiency, security, and compliance.
- Support cloud migrations, optimizations, and enhancements of existing environments.
Required Qualifications :
Proven engineering expertise, with a strong focus on AWS and Windows; experience with Azure and Linux is also highly valued.Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage stakeholders, gather requirements, and design complex IT solutions.Advanced proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation and orchestration.Solid experience in Landing Zone architecture, including implementation and best practices.Strong troubleshooting capabilities, particularly across Windows-based systems.Knowledge of networking, security, and cloud governance principles.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, Microsoft, Terraform, ITIL or other cloud and infrastructure technologies.Hands-on experience with Cloud Compliance and FinOps practices.Working knowledge of Python and AWS Lambda functions for automation and cloud-native development.(ref : hirist.tech)
