Role Overview :
As an Investment Banking Associate, your primary responsibility will be to engage and convince investors to invest in early revenue-stage startups in India. Our investment bankers play a pivotal role in building investor relationships, presenting curated by creddinv. you will work closely with founding team members to communicate startup investment opportunities, manage investor relationships, and contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Investor Relationship Management
Approach and engage HNIs / UHNIs leads provided by the marketing team, for curated startup investment opportunities.
Develop a deep understanding of the curated startups and communicate their growth potential, business model, and investment rationale effectively.
Maintain and strengthen investor relationships through regular communication, reporting, and follow-ups.
2. Deal Presentation & Business Development
Prepare and deliver investment decks, financial analyses, and insights to prospective investors.
Conduct sector research and market analysis to support conversations with investors.
Organize and participate in investor meetings, webinars, and networking events to generate interest in curated deals.
Work with founding team members to design persuasive pitches and presentations tailored to investor profiles.
3. Collaboration & Continuous Learning
Collaborate with internal analysts and investment teams to ensure accurate and compelling information is presented to investors.
Stay updated on trends in early-stage startup investments, emerging sectors, and investor preferences.
Contribute ideas to enhance investor engagement strategies and deal communication processes.
Candidate Profile / Skill Required :
Proven experience in front-end investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or startup investments.
Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent financial analysis, presentation, and Excel / PowerPoint skills.
Self-starter with high ownership, curiosity about startups, and a passion for investments.
Ability to multi-task, operate independently, and work under tight deadlines.
