Role Overview

Candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end logistics procurement, optimizing supply chain networks, and developing cost-effective logistics strategies.

The role demands a deep understanding of last-mile operations, logistics procurement, strategic sourcing, dispute resolution and data-driven decision-making to achieve efficiency, cost optimization, and service excellence across the logistics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership : Lead overall logistics procurement initiatives and develop long-term sourcing strategies to ensure efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Supply Chain Network Optimization : Plan and execute strategic supply chain network designs considering cost optimization, service levels, and operational flexibility.
• Quick Commerce & Dark Store Operations : Drive strategic planning for Quick Commerce last-mile operations, dark store replenishment, and logistics cost management to enhance delivery performance.
• Logistics Cost Ownership & Efficiency : Own and manage overall logistics cost structures, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and continuous improvement in cost design.
• Loss Management : Manage Gross Loss and Net Loss metrics, achieving measurable reductions through process optimization and cross-functional collaboration.
• Contracting & Compliance : Partner with legal teams to draft, negotiate, and finalize logistics carrier agreements in line with company policies, service level expectations, and regulatory compliance.
• Process Improvement & Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with analytics, warehouse, inventory, and leadership teams to identify process gaps, develop solutions, and drive operational efficiency.
• 3PL Relationship Management : Build and maintain strategic partnerships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to enhance performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Cost Optimization Initiatives : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cost-saving initiatives leading to substantial business impact and improved profitability.
• Dispute Resolution : Close all the invoicing and reconciliation disputes with the third-party logistics providers (3PLs) in a timely manner, maintain and adhere to SOPs on this
